It’s Fall Ball time! Registration is now open for Poinciana Little League and Junior Magic Basketball.
The 2021 Fall Baseball and Softball registration is open from now until Aug. 27. Division ages for baseball are: T-ball, (ages 4-6); Machine Pitch (6-8), Player Pitch, (8-10), Players Pitch (9-11), Majors (11-12) and Juniors (12-14). In softball divisions are Player Pitch (8-10), Majors (10-12) and Juniors (12-14).
Registration fees are $80 for new players, $65 for returning players (coupon sent via mail) and $55 for one child who has a parent who volunteers to coach. To register, parents must present a birth certificate and proof of residency or school enrollment. Payment can be in full, or a $25 deposit which will hold the player’s spot, but they must be paid in full by the start of the season.

Also, Poinciana Youth Sports Association (PYSA) Junior Magic Basketball is currently registering youth ages 6-17 for its fall season. Fall season starts Sept. 11 and runs through Oct. 30. Practices and games will be held at Poinciana Christian Preparatory School (4942 Old Pleasant Hill Road). The registration fee is $125 which includes a customized Junior Magic jersey and a free ticket to an Orlando Magic game. Central Florida Healthcare, Inc. will return to Poinciana Medical Center’s visitor parking lot (325 Cypress Parkway) on Tuesday, Aug. 31 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. They will be offering walk-up and drive-thru COVID-19 screening and testing.
