The City of St. Cloud presents A Community Day of Love to honor Black History Month on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 12-4 p.m. at Hopkins Park. This family friendly event features food, music, games and fun.

Then Sunday, the Black History Festival in downtown St. Cloud (818 Pennsylvania Ave.) presented by Granny’s Southern Smokehouse, will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a variety of vendors that highlight the Black voices and community within St. Cloud and surrounding areas.

This festival is a familyfriendly event. There will be live entertainment, food trucks, and a car show in addition to the vendors. There will also be a kid’s zone.

Nearby in downtown on Sunday, the 15th Annual Music & Bike Fest, hosted by Razors Edge, will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New York Avenue from 10th to 12th St. This event will benefit Relay for Life and features live music, bike show, car show, poker run, 50/50 drawing, food, shopping and superheroes. The Friends of the St. Cloud Memorial Library will hold a book sale on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This is a great chance to restock your home library and fuel your book reading habit for what you can fit into a $4 shopping bag.

Due to inclement weather on Feb. 18, the Harmony Market was rescheduled for this Sunday, Feb. 25 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vendors include fresh produce, spices, plants, candles, jewelry, crafts, body care, baked goods, clothing, dog items, nutrition, customized items, food trucks and more.

The first public workshop for the Osceola County Vision Zero Action Plan will be on Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 5:3007:30 p.m. at the St. Cloud Community Center. This Vision Zero Action Plan is being created to address traffic, deaths and serious injuries in our community and will identify high injury locations, educational programs and safety projects that can help make roads in Osceola safer.

The next Downtown Monthly Market will be on Wednesday, Feb. 28 from 5-9 p.m. Enjoy a friendly family night of shopping local vendors and crafters as well as pop-up vendors and food trucks. This free event will be staged along New York Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue from 10th to 12th Street.

Also on the 28th there will be historic walking tours from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and historic ghost tours from 8-9 p.m. Take a step back in time with St. Cloud Main Street’s Walking Tour. Led by a member at large of the Sons of Union Veterans, Ron, will guide you through St. Cloud’s history including the early days of Hamilton Disston’s Sugar Mill. As you make your way through downtown you will view historical murals painted by local artists, past and present.

The Ghost Tour tells stories of raging fires, bank robberies and stories about the ghosts that are believed to haunt downtown St. Cloud.

Get your tickets for Whiskey in the Cloud. This whiskey festival will be held on Saturday, Mar. 2 from 6-9 p.m. General admission tickets entitle you to unlimited spirits tastings & education. Attendees will have the chance to taste a wide variety of craft spirits, enhancing their knowledge and appreciation of whiskey. There will also be live music featuring local artists. You will also have the chance to vote for your favorite whiskey in the “Taste of the Cloud Best Whiskey Contest”. The festival’s location offers access to local bars and restaurants with special offers for festival attendees.

VIP ticket holders get early access to the event in a special VIP area and have access to limited edition or allocated spirits that are not available to the general public. Also included is a bottle of private barrel pick whiskey, luxury OFC sticks, and coupons for local restaurants and VIP restrooms.
