Poinciana Beautiful is a year-round contest which began in 2016. This is a wonderful way to recognize residents that took pride in their homes. APV has independent judges who will choose one home from each of the Villages to hold the title of Poinciana Beautiful Home.
Throughout the year, APV’s Community Service Department Officers nominate homes that they feel are deserving of this honor. In addition, residents are able to nominate themselves or any home they feel that is Poinciana Beautiful. Nominations are accepted all year long. To submit your nomination, take a picture of the exterior and landscaping of your home and fill out the submission form found at www.apvcommunity. com/poinciana-beautiful, and email Trish Moore at trish.moore@fs residential.com.
Winners will be announced at a Grand Gala Celebration in January 2022. Get going, beautiful people! Spruce up your home and be a part of Poinciana Beautiful.
Students need school supplies all school year long. The Poinciana Area Council (PAC) collects and delivers supplies year-round to Poinciana area schools. There are two ways in which you can donate: virtually or in person. Drop off sites are located at Poinciana Medical Center (325 Cypress Pkwy.), Rivera Spa Massage (395 Village Drive in Solivita or 1060 Cypress Pkwy.) CenterState Bank Poinciana Branch (850 Cypress Pkwy.), Poinciana Chiropractic (827 Cypress Pkwy.) and the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber of Commerce
(1425 E. Vine St., Kissimmee). To make a monetary donation, go to PAC’s Facebook page and go to the Virtual School Supply & Funds Drive button.
Central Florida Healthcare, Inc. will return to Poinciana Medical Center’s visitor parking lot (325 Cypress Pkwy.), on Tuesday, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. They will be offering walk-up and drive-thru COVID-19 screening and testing. Screening and testing will not be conducted by Poinciana Medical Center, but rather by Central Florida Healthcare, Inc. For more information, contact Central Florida Healthcare, Inc. at 866-234-8534.
