Body

Osceola County is assessing alternative routes for the extension of Celebration Boulevard from Celebration south to County Road 532 (Osceola-Polk Line Road).

The county will share some potential plans and routes at a public meeting Thursday (May 12) at 6 p.m. at The Artisan Park Club, 1343 Celebration Avenue, Celebration, FL 34747.

The county's feasibility study will evaluate three proposed alignments, including proposed drainage pond locations. The extension is anticipated to be a two-lane road with 11-foot travel lanes, a 16-foot median, bicycle and pedestrian features. The study involves a range of engineering assessments, environmental analysis, and public involvement to ultimately arrive at a preferred alternative while minimizing impacts to the surrounding environment and the citizens of Osceola County.

This meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn more about the study, ask questions, and provide input.
