Florida’s hurricane season is from June 1 to November 30 and is a period where hurricanes are more likely to form in the Atlantic Ocean. As June begins, we must remind ourselves how to prepare for a hurricane. The most essential need in natural disasters is clean water.

The Importance of Native Rangelands in Florida

Rangelands in Florida are land with native vegetation that have adapted to Florida’s conditions, and during the winter months these rangelands are grazed by livestock.
Florida is home to 350 native grass species, but no native grasses are used in planted pasture.
