As summer approaches, we know families across Kissimmee are starting to look for meaningful ways to keep kids engaged, active, and connected during the break. The City of Kissimmee’s Parks and Recreation Department’s 2026 summer camp lineup offers a wide range of programs that include early childhood learning, youth sports, and teen adventure experiences.

The offerings include:
Ms. Joanne’s Kiddie Kamp (ages 3-6): Early Learning Through Play
Hosted at Oak Street Park Community Center, Kiddie Kamp is designed for the youngest campers who are ready for social interaction and structured play in a supportive environment. The “learning through play” approach blends creativity and early development with activities such as crafts, music, singing, games, and occasional field trips. The goal is to help children build confidence, independence, and friendships while having fun each day.
Camp runs Monday through Friday starting June 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants must be potty trained, and a birth certificate is required at registration. No camp will be held on June 19 and July 3.
Sports Camp: Active Summer for Ages 6–11
At the Fortune Road Athletic Complex, the Sports Camp as a favorite option for families looking to keep kids active and engaged all summer long. The camp introduces participants to a variety of sports including flag football, soccer, kickball, volleyball, baseball, and esports. Throughout the program, campers develop teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship in a structured, high-energy environment.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended care available from 7:30 a.m. to 5
Topspin Tennis Camps for Teens
For teens looking to stay active and build their skills this summer, Topspin Tennis Camp is a focused, high-energy program designed for players ready to learn, improve, and compete. Held in a supportive training environment, this camp gives participants the opportunity to sharpen their game through structured daily instruction led by experienced tennis coaches. The program is built to help each athlete grow at their own pace. Each day includes a mix of technical drills, skill development, match play, fitness training, and competitive games—all designed to build confidence, consistency, and a stronger understanding of the sport.
Camp is offered for teens ages 13 to 17 and runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Weekly sessions begin June 2. For more information, families can contact Oak Street Park Community Center at 407-518-2360.
Camp Discovery: Full-Summer Fun for Elementary Ages
Camp Discovery is a full-day summer program for children in kindergarten through 5th grade and is hosted at Denn John Middle School and Kissimmee Elementary School. This “complete summer solution” includes field trips, aquatic center visits, meals, and extended care. It’s a great option for working families looking for a safe, structured, and fun environment all summer long.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended care available from 7:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. Note field trip details may change based on scheduling.
Teen Extreme: A Summer Built for Middle Schoolers
For students in grade 6-8, Teen Extreme Summer Camp is designed specifically to provide a more independent, engaging, and social summer experience. Hosted at Denn John Middle School, this program includes structured activities, field trips, aquatic center visits, and daily meals. Extended care is also available to support working families. Teen Extreme focuses on balancing fun with personal growth, leadership, and positive peer connections in a safe, supervised environment.
Registration requires a completed packet, and weekly payment deadlines apply. Families can also contact Chambers Park Community Center for additional assistance.
Families are encouraged to register early, as space is limited for all programs. A completed registration packet is required for enrollment.
