KFD working for accreditation
Dear Editor:
I write you in my capacity as Chaplain for the City of Kissimmee Fire Department. KFD is engaged in developing a strategic plan in order to be approved for an international accreditation. This is a big deal and will be good for the community, the City of Kissimmee and KFD!
Please come to a workshop on Aug. 31 from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the City Hall Commission Chambers. Share your “two cents worth” on how KFD is doing and what they might be doing in the future to serve the residents and businesses of Kissimmee. KFD is working on its five-year Community-Driven Strategic Plan. Your input is valuable as we work with the Center for Public Safety Excellence to obtain international accreditation.
