Dear Editor:
As a military veteran who was injured in the early 1970s with multiple medical issues, I was blessed to have Dr. Michael Seidman, Director of Otologic/ Neurologic Skull Based Surgery at AdventHealth Celebration. He operated on and repaired the hole in my ear canal.
As a former military officer with a multiple history of troubling injuries, I therefore recognize Dr. Seidman as we just honored Memorial Day of 2023. We the military queue the lines in going into harm’s way. Many lose their lives, and many come back injured and disabled with pain and suffering throughout the years. As I had Dr. Seidman bestowed on me to have the surgery done successfully, I am calling to all brothers to honor him and his welltrained clinical team to help save lives of our military men and women and the community at large. Dr. Seidman has accepted the gift to serve all humanity, in which he has acknowledged to have no boundaries.
He has made many videos shown on YouTube, to explain the injuries of the many veterans who he has operated on. There is no doubt my surgery will give more years on Earth, so I call on all my brothers in the Armed Forces to stand with me and recognize Dr. Seidman as a medical hero this Memorial Day and thank him for his professional abilities that save lives every day. Thank you, Dr. Michael Seidman once again for your medical dedication.
To all my military brothers dying each day, you are still remembered, and not forgotten. You are unseen, unheard and being missed, but you are always near, still remembered in the good and rough times. The happiest times will be reminiscing our younger years, memories we indulge in and dwell in the past.
