As part of the this week’s Mecum Auctions “Summer Special” car auction at Osceola Heritage Park, Dodge will give patrons the chance to view its lineup of new hot vehicles … and even buckle up and ride with a professional driver for a thrill ride in a modern muscle car.
While the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, Charger Scat Pack 392, Challenger Hellcat Superstock and Hornet GT will be on display, attendees from the Thursday through Saturday Mecum events this week can ride along in a Challenger or Charger SRT Hellcat in a “Thrill Ride.”
According to the folks at Dodge, the Challenger Hellcat is the fastest, most powerful muscle car ever thanks to the supercharged Hemi Hellcat V-8 engine which delivers an unprecedented 707-horsepower. The Charger SRT Hellcat is the quickest, fastest, and most powerful production sedan in the world, as well as the most capable and technologically advanced four-door muscle car in America.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Saturday, all registered participants will have the chance to speak with Dodge product specialists, win prizes while supplies last and be entered into a 2023 Sweepstakes for a chance to win cash prizes towards an eligible vehicle from any one of the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Truck or FIAT brands. (A winner will be drawn in early 2024.). The Mecum auction continues into Sunday.
The “Summer Special” has been held at the Orange County Convention Center for the past two years, after debuting in Kissimmee in 2019 and a repeat performance in summer 2020 as a sort of triumphant comeback from COVID-19.
