St. Cloud man killed in single-car crash with tree on Friar's Cove

  • A 23-year-old St. Cloud man was killed Tuesday morning when his car ran off a road south of St. Cloud and hit a tree, Florida Highway Patrol has reported.

    A 23-year-old St. Cloud man was killed Tuesday morning when his car ran off a road south of St. Cloud and hit a tree, Florida Highway Patrol has reported. 

    The crash report stated that around 10:25 a.m., the Honda Civic was traveled west on Friar's Cove Road. Near Deer Run Road the driver, for an unknown reason, left the roadway and collided with the tree. The driver was pronounced deceased on scene.

    FHP reports the crash remains under investigation.
