Police seek potential additional victims of Kissimmee child rapist

The Osceola County Sheriff's Office wants to know if there are any additional minor victims of a man arrested this week on multiple counts of molesting and sexually battering minors.

Vitor Camilo Coelho Pinto, 21, is from Brazil and has lived in on the West U.S. Highway 192 corridor in Kissimmee since 2020, The Sheriff's Office reported Wednesday. During this rime he reportedly befriended several Brazilian families residing in the area, and offered to babysit and assist with child care.

On Monday, the agency's Special Victim's Unit responded to a sexual battery case, where an 11-year-old male victim disclosed he had been victimized by Coelho Pinto on multiple occasions. The investigation yielded a second male victim, an 8-year-old who disclosed several incidents of lewd and lascivious conduct by Coelho Pinto.

Tuesday, deputies obtained a warrant for Coelho Pinto, and arrested him on 10 counts each of capital sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation. He is being held at Osceola County Corrections without bond. Court records show he made an initial appearance in front of a judge Wednesday afternoon.

Due to the circumstances of this case, Sheriff's detectives say they have reason to believe there may be other victims. If anyone has any further information in reference to this incident or your child has been in contact with Vitor Camilo Coelho Pinto, please contact the Osceola County Sheriff's Office at 407-348-2222. Additional investigation and charges are forthcoming.
