A female pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Saturday after trying to cross Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 42-year-old Kissimmee pedestrian was attempting to cross Pleasant Hill Road at about 11:15 p.m., near Pine Ridge Circle, when she was hit by a sedan-type vehicle being driven by a 20-year-old-woman from Kissimmee.
The pedestrian was not in a crosswalk or at an intersection, troopers said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
