Among the new laws taking effect next week on Oct. 1 are changes in how police identify criminal gang members, a new penalty for those who involve minors in animal fighting, and a clarification on license plate frame rules.
“Artificial intelligence is already in the classroom, and the rules before you today are about keeping Florida in front, rather than reacting,” said Education Commissioner Henry Mack.
