TUESDAY UPDATE: Osceola Magic guard Mac McClung has been selected to participate in the 2024 Panini Rising Stars, on Friday, Feb. 16 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis as part of the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend. TNT will televise the annual showcase of premier young talent at 9 p.m. ET.

Defending champion Osceola will be the favorite to win a second consecutive team title, but could face a stern challenge from Harmony at Saturday’s Orange Belt Conference boys wrestling tournament at Celebration High School, starting 10:30 a.m.

Springs, Cotto lead Bulldogs to first-ever OBC boys hoops title

After being held to three points through three quarters, junior Alex Springs scored eight fourth quarter points to lead St. Cloud to a 43-37 victory over Poinciana in the 2024 Orange Belt Conference championship game Friday at Celebration High School.

It's Poinciana vs. St. Cloud for OBC boys basketball title Friday

In a game that more than lived up to expectations, Diomar Ortiz hit a three-pointer from the top of the key with 2.7 seconds remaining to give St. Cloud a 54-52 upset road win over Harmony in the semifinals of the Orange Belt Conference boys basketball tournament.

Harmony, Poinciana top seeds in OBC boys hoops tourney

As the highest-ranked state ranked team in the FHSAA last week, Harmony earned the top seed for this week’s Orange Belt Conference boys’ basketball tournament beginning Monday The tournament features a “pod” system. At Harmony, the top-seed Longhorns host Celebration Monday right after No. 4 St.

Valiant Kowboys 2nd in 3A state dual wrestling

Osceola’s storied wrestling program added another chapter to its legacy Saturday with an impressive runner-up finish at the Class 3A FHSAA State Duals Wrestling Championships Now in its seventh year, the tournament was won by South Dade, who defeated Osceola in the finals, 55-15.
