Jupiter High walked into the Osceola High gym Wednesday the taller volleyball team.Less than 90 minutes later, might beat height, and the mighty Kowboys are headed back to the FHSAA Class 7A state volleyball tournament with a three-set victory over the Warriors that was part power, part clinic.

A dream realized — Mac McClung reaches NBA with Pacers

Dreams do come true! Mac McClung was the floor leader for the Osceola Magic the last two years, leading them all the way to the NBA G League Championship series where they lost to the Stockton Kings last season. McClung wanted parlay the success of last year into playing regularly at the NBA level.

Saturday sweep puts Osceola volleyball one win from 7A Final Four

It was a lot closer than the final score indicated, but Osceola’s volleyball team swept past a tall and talented Vero Beach team in straight sets (27-25, 25-19, 25-22) Saturday afternoon in a Class 7A Region 2 semifinal.

Poinciana wins 4th straight Battle of the Boulevard, 38-0

Poinciana's seniors accomplished a great feat in Friday's Battle of the Boulevard rivalry football showdown.Those Eagles turned a series around that they had never won since it started in 2007, and claimed their fourth straight win over the Chargers, 38-0. Those seniors never lost to Liberty.

FOOOTBALL RIVALRY WEEK: Soldiers, Battles, Bugles — sounds more like Veteran’s Day

The game has no implications for the District 7A-10 championship, but Friday’s 21st edition of the Soldier City Classic between St. Cloud (6-2, 2-0) and Harmony (4-4, 0-2) means everything to the players, coaches, alumni and fans of both schools.St.
