Osceola wrestlers strike gold with 3 state championship wins

Osceola High School has another state champion.  Well actually three. Sophomore Cooper Haase (120), senior Jaekus Hines (138) and freshman Gunner Holland (152) all took individual titles in the FHSAA Class 3A State Wrestling Championships held Mar. 5-6 at Osceola Heritage Park.

Osceola High's Jaekus Hines to wrestle collegiately for Appalachian State

Jaekus Hines, a three-time state qualifier and a defending state wrestling champion will become a Mountaineer.  On Monday, the Osceola County senior and team captain signed a scholarship offer for Appalachian State University.

County Sports Roundup: City of Life Christian Academy girls earns final four spot

City of Life Christian Academy (COLCA) is headed to the FHSAA Class 2A Final Four.   The Lady Warriors (14-6), who came up one game short of the Final Four a year ago, will now move to Lakeland following an impressive 64-38 blowout road win over Foundation Academy on Friday.

St. Cloud girls move to regional basketball semifinals

Harmony repeats as wrestling OBC champions

Harmony sent 12 men to the wrestling finals, winning six individual championships, to successfully defend its Orange Belt Conference Championship with a 242.0 to 196.5 win over Osceola on Feb. 5. St. Cloud finished in third place with 132.5 points and Celebration was fourth with 86.5.
