Osceola School District's high school athletic teams recognized for top academic performances

The Osceola School District officials said they were proud of their many student athletes who have the work ethic and determination to reach for excellence both on the playing fields and in the classrooms. 

The following recognitions have been earned by school athletic teams for top academic performance in the district's Orange Belt Conference (OBC):

Top GPA For Fall 2020 Sports: Harmony High Girls' Cross Country with 3.892 GPA (sports include bowling, cross country, football, golf, swimming/diving, and volleyball). 

 Top GPA For Winter 2021 Sports: St. Cloud High Girls' Weightlifting with a 3.873 GPA (sports include basketball, cheerleading, soccer, girls’ weightlifting, and wrestling).  

 Top GPA For Spring 2021 Sports: St. Cloud High Boys’ Tennis with 3.879 GPA (sports include baseball, fishing, flag football, lacrosse, softball, tennis, track and field, water polo, boys’ volleyball, and boys’ weightlifting).    

Top OBC Girls’ Team: Harmony High Cross Country with a 3.892 GPA.   

Top OBC Boys’ Team: St. Cloud High Tennis with a 3.879 GPA 

Top Overall School GPA: St. Cloud Bulldogs with a 3.506 GPA.

Osceola School District's Overall GPA for 2020-2021 is 3.232 (up from 3.228 in 2020).

FHSAA Academic Team Champions:  

St. Cloud High Boys’ Weightlifting – First place in 3A 

Harmony High Girls’ Cross Country – Second place in 3A. 

St. Cloud High Girls’ Weightlifting – Second place in 2A. 

St. Cloud High Boys’ Tennis – Second place in 3A.

FHSAA Finishes:  

St. Cloud High – Seventh Place in 6A 

Harmony High – Eleventh Place in 6A
