Osceola High School is seeking help from individuals and businesses interested in helping its football team get to the state championship game in Tallahassee this weekend.  The program needs to help defray the costs of bus transportation, meals and a one-night hotel stay as the team is scheduled to play in Tallahassee this Saturday at 1 p.m. for the FHSAA Class 8A State Championship.

As it stands right now, the team is scheduled to lead Kissimmee at 4 a.m. Saturday, drive directly to Tallahassee and play in the 1 p.m. game and then bus home on the same day.  The team hopes to raise enough money that will allow the team to travel on Friday afternoon, get a walkthrough in the Florida State University indoor practice field on Friday evening, get a good night's rest and then be ready for Saturday's game.

Those interested in helping out with a financial donation, please contact Osceola High School Athletic Director Jim Bird or Head Football Coach Doug Nichols at the school 407-518-5400.  Donations can also be dropped off at the school office during regular school hours 407-518-5400, please make checks available to Osceola High School.
