St. Michael’s College (Vermont) sophomore and New Dimensions school alumna Alexandra Báez Rentas was one of four Purple Knights qualified for College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division II Academic AllDistrict honors.

Saint Michael’s was one of five schools in the Northeast-10 Conference with the maximum four qualifiers.

Per Saint Michael’s: “One of the most versatile setters in the NE10, Báez Rentas is ninth in the NE10 in assists per set (7.2) and 10th in digs per set (3.8), posting the highest digs average by a setter. Her 61 kills were fifth among primary setters, and she dropped 12 aces while committing only four service errors. Báez Rentas notched 20 assists and 20 digs in the same match five times, including turning in a line of 27 assists, 21 digs, four blocks and four kills versus regionally-ranked New Haven and a performance of 20 helpers, 15 digs and five kills against NCAA regional finalist Adelphi. The sophomore captain added 31 assists and 24 digs against Franklin Pierce University on Oct. 18. She carries a 3.75 GPA as an accounting major, and has qualified twice for the NE10 Academic Honor Roll.”
