2022 St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce Merry Member Mingle -- celebration of holidays and 2022 success

The St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce held its annual December Business After Hours networking event, dubbed "Merry Member Mingle," on Dec. 13. The occasion is used each year to celebrate the holiday, rejoice Chamber members' successes of the ending year and greet new organizations that joined the St.

Festival of Lights makes the season bright again

The Christmas spirit was in full effect Saturday at the Kissimmee Festival of Lights Parade. The parade returned to Broadway in downtown to rekindle all the magic of the holidays. Thousands anticipated the annual tradition and lined the street some two hours prior to the parade.

Not even a brief shower could dampen the Halloween spirit Friday of Boo! On Broadway, Kissimmee Main Street’s 13th annual trick-or-treat extravaganza. Broadway’s merchants turned out to give thousands of costumed children candy at a safe event.

The St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce welcomed a new Chairperson of the Board and gave out some awards at its Annual Gala Saturday night at Osceola Heritage Park.

Citing a willingness — and necessity — to work together, Angela Eady and Janette Martinez were sworn in to their four-year terms on the Kissimmee City Commission Tuesday. Each one defeated an incumbent in the Aug. 23 election.

Desfile Puertorriqueno de la Florida, “The Florida Puerto Rican Parade” returned Saturday to the streets of the City of Kissimmee, celebrating Puerto Rican culture. The Parade was dedicated to the town of Loiza and Miguel Lanzo who brought the Bomba y Plena to the hearts of native Puerto Ricans.
