Osceola County, Kissimmee, St. Cloud to close administrative offices Friday amid COVID-19 concerns

On Friday, Osceola County will close its administrative office and the cities of Kissimmee and St. Cloud will close city halls to the public due to COVID-19 (coronavirus) concerns.

 Libraries will be closed too.

The only exceptions are Kenansville Landfill, Bass Road Landfill and St. Cloud Transfer Station. 

Osceola County Animal Services will have limited hours by appointment only for all adoptions, lost pet returns and pet viewing for potential adoption.

 The community is encouraged to visit the websites for the municipalities for assistance, as most key services are available online or by phone and business can be conducted via email, phone or video chat.

Osceola County officials urge the community to practice social distancing, and to stay home as much as possible unless working, shopping for necessary supplies, getting carry out meals from restaurants, or attending to medical needs.

 To assist Osceola County residents regarding concerns about the Coronavirus (COVID-19), Osceola County has created a new webpage, Osceola.org/covid19, which includes local updates in addition to resources and updates from the CDC and FDOH.

 The city of Kissimmee has updated Kissimmee.org to focus on the City’s response to the novel coronavirus.
