Dear Editor: I write you in my capacity as Chaplain for the City of Kissimmee Fire Department. KFD is engaged in developing a strategic plan in order to be approved for an international accreditation. This is a big deal and will be good for the community, the City of Kissimmee and KFD!

By Dr. Lucretia Starnes Nationally there has been an increase in the shortage of affordable housing. According to the National Low Income Housing Coalition, there is a shortfall of more than 7 million affordable homes for our nation’s 10.8 million extremely low-income families.

Dear Editor: The nearly 50-year debate in regards to abortion rages on, and has intensified with the Supreme Court’s recent decision. I consider myself prolife, but I also believe an abortion may be needed in the very rare cases when the life of the mother is in danger from her pregnancy.
