Terry Louise (Draiss) Sawenok, 62, died on April 10, 2020, of natural causes at her home in Kissimmee, FL.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Margaret Theresa and Edward George Draiss, Tony Sawenok, husband, and various aunts and uncles with whom she was always close. She will be missed by her two sons, Joe (Kristin) Eginger of Belmont, NC, and Brandon Sawenok of Kissimmee, FL; four grandchildren, her pride and joy: Meggan, Kelsie, Samantha, and Parker Eginger; her three brothers Carl (Joan) Draiss, Athens, NY, Kevin (Michele) Draiss Ithaca, NY, and Stephen (Heather) Draiss, Binghamton, NY; nieces and nephews Brian (Lisa) Draiss, Greenlawn, NY, Monica (Trever) Sherman, Dryden, NY, Alison (Jim) Klafehn, Freeville, NY, and Emily Neish, step-niece, Binghamton, NY; great-nieces and great-nephews Dylan, Riley, Parker, Seth, Emmett, Adrianna, Caleb, and Stella, step-great-niece, and by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Terry was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, NY, and was Poughkeepsie High School class of 1976. While in Poughkeepsie, she married her first husband, Joe Eginger, and welcomed a son, Joe.
Terry relocated to Florida in the mid-80s with her second husband, Tony Sawenok. They welcomed a son, Brandon, who was a small boy when Tony died unexpectedly in 1994. Terry lived in Florida for the remainder of her life, always welcomed a visit from her friends and family from the north, and was always greeted with a warm welcome when she returned home.
