NeoCity was alive with runners and the spirit of giving Saturday at the Rotary Club of Kissimmee West Rise & Run 5K @ NeoCity. The second annual event benefitted Help Now Osceola in its efforts to defeat domestic violence during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and End Polio Now programs; World Polio Day is Saturday, Oct. 24.
There were 200 participants from as far away as Jacksonville, 20% more than last year according to the Rotary, and of the 16 registered teams, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office won Largest Team for the second year in a row, and Rise & Run Podcast won the Most Spirited Team award.
