Kissimmee police officers on Thursday arrested an attempted murder suspect wanted in Las Vegas.

The case began on Monday, when North Las Vegas Police Department officials, who said an attempted murder suspect might be in Kissimmee, contacted the Kissimmee Police Department.

Fernando Rodriguez Corbin, 58, was wanted in Las Vegas for stabbing his girlfriend and male roommate more than five years ago, according to a Kissimmee Police Department press release.

On Thursday, Kissimmee police officers spotted a male matching Corbin’s description at the Home Depot at 2601 W. Vine St. When confronted, Corbin only gave officers a partial name and reversed his Social Security numbers, the press release stated said.

KPD then contacted North Las Vegas law enforcement and was able to identify Corbin by his tattoos.

Corbin was arrested and is currently in custody at the Osceola County Jail.
