If your group or business is conducting a special event or project in Osceola County, you could qualify for funding assistance from Experience Kissimmee through its Tourism Enhancement Grants program.

The application period opens May and runs through June 15. Events occurring between Oct. 1, 2022 and Sept. 30, 2023 are eligible to be considered.

The application packet will be available for download starting Monday (April 18) at: Experiencekissimmee.com/partners/grants/ grants-application-form.

This program offers funding assistance to businesses who develop and stage special events and projects in Osceola County that increase room nights and revenue, and enhance the county’s appeal to visitors. Experience Kissimmee is the marketing arm for Osceola County’s tourism industry, and through the program looks for events that support its mission, and that of the local Tourist Development Council, to promote tourism for Osceola County.

In the past, local popular events such as Kissimmee’s Kowtown Festival, the Spring Fling, Viva Osceola, the Puerto Rican Festival and Parade, Ranch Rodeo, Caribbean Fusion, and Oktoberfest have all received marketing funding assistance from Experience Kissimmee. By filling out the

By filling out the grant application form and providing an event description, marketing plan, and budget, groups could qualify for one of these grants. Grant recipients will be required to attend a workshop that lays out obligations, funding restrictions and reporting requirements.

Keep in mind, organizations receiving Tourism Enhancement Grants funds will be subject to audit by Experience Kissimmee and/or Osceola County
