Three people arrested in attempted murder

Three people were arrested in the attempted murder of a man in Osceola County on Aug. 2.

According to an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office report, Christian Colon was charged with attempted murder.

Lachaunda Woods was charged with carrying a concealed firearm, tampering with evidence and accessory after the fact to a first-degree felony. While Kione White was charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon and battery.

On Aug. 2, Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 7-Eleven gas station at 5085 W. U.S. Highway 192 in Kissimmee, after receiving a report of a shooting. The victim was transported to Celebration Health with multiple gunshot wounds.

A Sheriff’s Office investigation revealed the victim was attacked by White and ultimately shot by Colon. Woods supplied the handgun that Colon used in the shooting. Through search warrants the handgun was recovered and seized.
