The weather pattern through Sunday will feature partly cloudy skies and about a 20 to 30 percent chance of scattered showers in the afternoon.

High temperatures will be in the upper 80s through Friday and then low 80s for the weekend.

We have a month of the hurricane season remaining but nothing threatening us at this time. Hurricane Zeta will make landfall around Louisiana and that will be the fifth named storm this season for that state. Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour Saturday night as we go back on standard time.

On Sunday, the sun will set at 5:40 p.m., so it will be dark by 6:10 p.m. Sunrise will be at 6: 38 a.m. If you have any weather questions or are looking for weather data, you can reach me anytime at weather1@charter.net
