Suspects arrested after robbing woman at ATM

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested two men who robbed a woman using an ATM inside a Wawa store

On March 17, at approximately 2:25 p.m., deputies were alerted to the Wawa located at 2148 E Irlo Bronson Highway, Kissimmee, in reference to a robbery. Deputies spoke with the victim who said  she was getting money from the ATM located inside the Wawa, when a Hispanic male suspect ran up to her, took her money, then violently threw her to the ground. The suspect fled the area on foot. The initial investigation revealed the suspect was dropped off in a black Toyota Scion, and the driver of the vehicle was an accomplice. Several hours later, detectives from the Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit located the suspect’s vehicle in the area of Oakwood Drive and Buenaventura Lakes Boulevard. They detained the occupants, later identified as Jefferson Feliciano and Kevin Serrano, and discovered a 1-year-old child in the backseat. Detectives interviewed the suspects and both admitted to their involvement in the robbery and stated the child was in the vehicle during the incident. Both suspects were arrested and charged with robbery without a weapon, child neglect, and petit theft.

Sheriff Russ Gibson and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office want to remind residents to stay vigilant and take safety precautions when conducting transaction at banks, businesses and ATM’s, according to a press release.
