A St. Cloud motorcyclist was killed in an Osceola County crash on Tuesday, after a vehicle turned into his path, authorities said.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, a 23-year-old female from St. Cloud was driving a sedan-type vehicle northbound on Old Melbourne Highway at about 5:55 a.m.

The 23-year-old motorcyclist was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 192. The female driver then attempted to make a left turn onto westbound U.S. Highway 192 and turned into the path of the motorcyclist, the FHP report stated. The front of the sedan hit the motorcycle and the rider was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female suffered minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
