St. Cloud man arrested for child porn possession

A St. Cloud man was arrested in August for possession of child pornography.

According to an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office report on June 16, the Sheriff’s Office received a cybertip from NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children).

Detectives with the ICAC Unit (Internet Crimes Against Children) began an investigation into the cybertip and obtained probable cause to obtain a search warrant for a Greenhorn Path home in St. Cloud.

Based on evidence seized from the search warrant, an arrest warrant was obtained for Matthew Douglas Brown for 10 counts of possession of child pornography. He did not cooperate with the investigation. On Aug. 19, Brown turned himself into the Osceola County Jail with a $10,000 bond.
