For any Osceola students wanting to learn more about county government, spots are now open for Commissioner Peggy Choudhry’s Student Committee.

The committee is for students from the 5th to 12th grade with parental consent. The students attend monthly meetings to learn about county government and how to help make a difference in the community, according to a committee flier.

The meetings are every Wednesday from 6 to 7:30. The days are: Feb. 17, March 10, April 14, May 12, June 9, and July 14. The dates are subject to change.

The location is at the Osceola County Administration Building, 1 Courthouse Square, 4th floor, conference room 4727, Kissimmee. The location also is subject to change.

Social distancing and facemasks are required. Light refreshments will be served.
