A survey was recently sent out asking whether the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce  should have the 2021 St. Cloud Business Expo.

Here are the the results:

· 8% of you responded to the survey

· Of those 8%, 69% said we should have it.  That percentage was 5% of the entire membership base.

· Then, of those who responded, 65% (3% of membership) of those said it should happen indoors, while 100% (5% of membership) had outdoors in their answer.  (Selecting "either" or "outdoors").

·  When asked to serve on the committee, 35% of the respondents, and only 2% of those who were sent the survey answered positively.

· When asked about helping the day of, 25% of respondents, and 1% of the survey field answered positively.

·  In the comments section of the survey, 35% of respondents remarked that they would prefer the Expo happen later in the year.  Many cited the uncertainties of the vaccine and community safety as their primary concern.

"I understand that in many cases, you and your business are simply trying to survive and that occupies all your time.  Hear me very clearly on this:  you must take care of you, your family and your business first.  If your business fails or you succumb to the stress of this situation, your friends and family, our community and finally, the chamber, will all feel the loss.  Our priority is you and your company or organization," said Chamber President Dirk Webb. "From the survey referenced above we have decided to postpone the St. Cloud Business Expo for this spring and set our attention toward bringing it back in the fall if at all appropriate.  We thank each of you for your continued support of the chamber."
