Rotary Club hosts student art exhibit to help feed the hungry in Osceola County

The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West is hosting the sixth annual virtual student art exhibit to benefit feeding the hungry in Osceola County.

The Rotary Club of Kissimmee West Student Virtual Art Exhibit will include over 500 juried art exhibits from art students throughout Osceola County. 

The artwork will be judged (based on grade), and prizes and ribbons will be awarded to the students and teachers who have participated in the virtual art exhibit. The student with the most votes through the “People’s Choice Award” will receive $250; “Best of Show” winners will receive $100; and their teachers will receive $100 for art supplies. Remaining donations will support the Osceola Council on Aging’s Food Pantry. 

It will be from until May 3. Vote and review virtually at www.osceolagenerations.org

Virtual Exhibit of Art will be displayed for one week on http://osceolagenerations.org. You can also follow SDOC Arts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

 An exhibit of all the prize winners (120-plus pieces) will be on display at Kissimmee City Hall after May 3

There is a cost of $5 for each vote you place for your favorite artist(s).

Rotary has sponsorships available from $50 to $1,000.

The proceeds will benefit charitable causes focusing on feeding the hungry, the Osceola Council on Aging, Polio eradication, as well as, children and youth education and development programs throughout Osceola County.
