Weather watching
The way things are currently looking, the only day out of the next seven with a chance of rain is Thursday.
Friday through Sunday is looking fantastic with sunshine and high temperatures climbing from 82 on Friday to 90 degrees on Sunday. The 90s are expected to continue at least through May 6.
The state has taken quite a beating from thunderstorms for the past couple of weeks, but now we have no major weather systems expected for a while.
During the evening hours we have the planet Venus, along with a crescent moon in the Western sky – it is a lovely sight so be sure and check it out if you get a chance. Jupiter, Saturn and Mars appear together around 3 to 4 a.m. in the Southeastern sky.
