Poinciana man arrested and charged with child porn possession

A Poinciana man was arrested and charged with child pornography possession.

According to an Osceola County Sheriff’s Office report, in May 4, the agency received a cybertip from NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children).

Detectives with the ICAC Unit (Internet Crimes Against Children) began an investigation into the cybertip and obtained probable cause to obtain a search warrant for an Alicante Court home in Poinciana.

Based on evidence seized from the search warrant, an arrest warrant was obtained for Luis Alejandro Ortiz Gonzalez for 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of child pornography.

Ortiz Gonzalez did cooperate with the investigation. On Aug. 20, Ortiz Gonzalez was arrested and transported to the Osceola County Jail with an $11,000 bond.
