The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is working a homicide investigation after authorities believe a man was shot and killed at a house party in Davenport on Tuesday.

Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of shots fired at the StoneyBrook South subdivision in Davenport. When deputies arrived, they believed a shooting might have occurred, but could not locate any victims.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office later contacted the Osceola Sheriff’s Office after a shooting victim had been dropped off at Dr. Phillip’s Hospital. The victim was later identified as 20-year-old Wolph Lutherking Luma, who later was pronounced dead. Osceola deputies believe Luma was attending a house party in the Davenport area and that it was an isolated incident. The investigation is ongoing and no further information was available.
