Osceola County Clerk of Court Kelvin Soto will offer residents with a suspended driver license the opportunity to pay overdue court obligations, including traffic tickets, while saving up to 40 percent in additional fees during Operation Green Light 2021 starting Saturday, Feb. 20.

Customers may also be able to have suspended driver licenses reinstated. Payment plans will be available for those individuals that are not able to completely satisfy the amount owed.

Due to COVID-19, the Osceola County Clerk’s Office has decided to give customers the option of participating virtually in Operation Green Light 2021  Saturday, Feb. 20, through Saturday, March 6.

Individuals can attend the event in-person at the Osceola County Courthouse, located at 2 Courthouse Square, Kissimmee, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Customers may also check for a suspended license, request a payment plan and complete an event testimonial on the Clerk’s Office website www.osceolaclerk.com under the “Services” tab and selecting “OGL-Driver License Reinstatement.” Any payment plans completed during the weekend days of the event will be honored.

The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles will be onsite with its Florida Licensing on Wheels, or FLOW, vehicle to print new licenses and provide additional services.  The FLOW vehicle will be available on Feb. 23, Feb. 25 and March 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. All customers will be required to adhere to all safety and health requirements before entering the courthouse and FLOW vehicle.

“The ability to legally drive is not only a privilege to be promoted, but for many it is a necessity, without which, the ability to maintain a household, participate in the community, and exercise basic freedoms would be jeopardized,” said Soto. “I am proud to offer this service which is designed to save those affected money, time, and hardship.”
