Old Town will ring in the new year with a New Year’s Eve Celebration hosted by Old Town and Fun Spot Kissimmee on Thursday, Dec. 31.

The celebration includes a variety of free activities and entertainment the family can enjoy together.  Car enthusiasts will enjoy a car show featuring show-quality muscle cars from 1964 and newer and classics from 1983 and older.  Live entertainment will roam the brick streets of Old Town and Fun Spot Kissimmee with a free concert featuring Groove Infusions starting at 7 p.m. on the Old Town Main Stage.

The celebration concludes with a fantastic firework when the clock ticks to midnight.  The colorful display illuminating the night sky will be launched off in the revitalized Old Town South Plaza featuring Fun Spot rides, including the new rollercoaster Hurricane.

“We’re excited to partner with Fun Spot Kissimmee as we end the year with a family-friendly celebration,” said Thearon Scurlock, Old Town vice president and general manager.  “Old Town continues to offer great free weekly events and solidify us as the area’s premier entertainment district for locals and visitors alike.”

The New Year’s Eve Celebration hosted by Old Town and Fun Sport begins at 3 p.m.  Old Town opens at noon  and Fun Spot at 10 a.m. on Dec. 31.  Admission, the car show, live music, and fireworks are free for all ages.  Ride passes can be purchased at www.fun-spot.com or at the park.
