Orlando Health has named Ohme Entin as the new president of Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital, promoting her from the role of chief operating officer at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital.

Entin is a seasoned healthcare executive who officially began her new position at Orlando Health St. Cloud, an 84-bed facility that provides high-quality healthcare to Osceola County and the surrounding areas on Nov. 9. In this new role, she has oversight of the hospital’s daily operations, as well as managing all associated healthcare operations in St. Cloud.

“It’s my pleasure to welcome Ohme as the new president of Orlando Health St. Cloud Hospital,” said Thibaut van Marcke, senior vice president, Orlando Health Southeast Region, and president of Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital. “Her appointment comes at an exciting time, as Orlando Health recently expanded our services in the Osceola region. I am convinced that her commitment to working with team members, empowering our clinicians, and ensuring quality patient care will further enhance the care we provide.”

Before becoming president, Entin served for the past two years as the COO of Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips, successfully leading several capital expansion projects, including the Orlando Health Emergency Room – Osceola that opened to the public in January 2019. Also, she managed the addition of two operating suites and an expansion at Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips, which added 48 private rooms to the 237-bed hospital. Entin was also instrumental in boosting team member engagement at the hospital, which had a direct impact on the quality care delivered to patients.

“I am honored and equally excited by the opportunity to lead such a committed and talented team,” Entin said. “I look forward to working closely with the leadership team, physicians and team members to build on the hospital’s more than 56-year legacy of providing care to the community.”

Prior to joining Orlando Health, Entin held several leadership roles with HCA Healthcare. Her most recent position was COO for HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast, a 345-bed facility located in Pasadena, Texas. Also, she holds a bachelor of science degree from Rutgers University and a master of health administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
