Man arrested for Kissimmee home invasion

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for home invasion on Jan. 28, after he entered a home and threatened the victims with a gun.

According to a Sheriff’s Office report, deputies responded to a Kissimmee home after the victims called for help.

The victims said that Orlando Pileta-Ramirez entered their home, pointed a gun at their heads and demanded money. He then fired a warning shot and threatened to kill the victims and their children, the report stated. Based on the information, Criminal Investigations Division detectives responded to investigate.

When questioned, Pileta-Ramirez denied all allegations made against him. He was arrested and charged with home invasion with a firearm, shooting deadly missile into an occupied dwelling, false imprisonment and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He was booked into the Osceola County Jail with no bond.
