The City of Kissimmee has announced its Bob Makinson Aquatic Center will open for the summer season on Saturday, Mary 24.
The opening weekend will include Sunday and Memorial Day on Monday, and the center will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Admission is $5 per person, payable at the gate.
After the holiday weekend, the Aquatic Center will begin regular summer operation. From May 31 through August 9, 2025, the facility will be open every day from 11-5. It will remain open for the Juneteenth, Independence Day and Labor Day holiday weekends.
The 30-year-old Aquatic Center features recreational swimming in its lap pool, a shallow area with water play features for the kids, concessions and shaded picnic areas. The facility is located at 2204 Denn John Lane, Kissimmee, Florida 34744.
