The Kissimmee Police Department announced the arrest of one of its officers Monday.
Ofc. Luis Perez was charged with written threats against his ex-girlfriend with whom he shares a child.
He has been relieved of duty pending a criminal investigation, a spokesperson said. Due to the ongoing investigation, KPD said it’s unable to release any additional information, and will not be providing any interviews or additional comments at this time.
“The City of Kissimmee Police Department takes these matters seriously and always expects the agency members to remain professional,” a KPD statement read.
