Kissimmee motorcyclist killed in Orange County crash

A Kissimmee motorcyclist was killed in an Orange County crash on Thursday after a motorist lost control of his vehicle.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 26-year-old Orlando resident was driving a sedan eastbound on State Road 408, exiting onto Goldenrod Road at about 10:20 a.m.
The 38-year-old motorcyclist from Kissimmee was traveling northbound on Goldenrod Road.
As the Orlando driver came to the intersection, he lost control of the vehicle and drove over the raised median. The vehicle then struck the motorcycle. The Kissimmee resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending against the Orlando resident.
