Kissimmee driver hits pedestrian trying to cross OBT

A Kissimmee driver hit a pedestrian trying to cross Orange Blossom Trail on Wednesday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 22-year-old woman from Kissimmee was driving a SUV southbound on Orange Blossom Trail in Orange County at about 7:55 p.m.
The male pedestrian was trying to cross OBT to the west when he was hit by the SUV. He was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Troopers are still trying to identify the pedestrian.
The crash remains under investigation.
