FHP: St. Cloud motorcyclist killed Sunday in Orange County
A St. Cloud motorcyclist was killed Sunday evening when another motorist passed into his path in Orange County causing a collision, Florida Highway Patrol has reported.
Just after 6 p.m., the 29-year-old was headed west on Wetherbee Road on his Yamaha motorcycle, when an eastbound Nissan Altima driven by a 56-year-old Orlando woman made a left turn onto Balcombe Road, just east of Orange Blossom Trail in the Southchase area. Per the FHP report, the woman turned into the path of the motorcycle, and the impact caused the cycle to run off the right side of the road. The man was transported to Advent Health Kissimmee Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The other driver was not injured and remained on scene.
FHP has not identified those involved. The crash remains under investigation.
