The city of Kissimmee Parks & Recreation Department will accept summer camp applications on today, June 5, with camp beginning on Monday, June 15.
The fee is $70 per week, per child. Participants are required to pay the full payment for the first week and a $10 deposit for the remaining weeks for each child enrolled. Camp Discovery is for participants between the ages of 5 through 11, and Teen Extreme is for participants between the ages 12 through 15.
This year’s program is unique due to COVID-19, and parents/guardians will notice some significant changes. The city is following the Florida Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines in providing these services. These measures were designed to keep campers, staff, and parents safe while providing an entertaining and exciting summer.
Registration is available at https://webtrac.kissimmee.org/.  New users to the city of Kissimmee Parks and Recreation programs will first need to create an account. Accounts will be activated within 24 hours during regular business hours. Once on the website, click “camps” and select the program. More information about the new procedures will be made available at the time of registration.
