Mecum Auctions is ready for the new year with the hosting of its annual Kissimmee auction – an occasion that has held status as the world’s largest such event for nearly a decade.

Set to return to the Osceola Heritage Park grounds in Kissimmee Jan. 7-16, the 2021 auction is expected to see nearly 3,000 vehicles cross the block throughout the 10 auction days, and the lineup is already flush with main attraction vehicles that boast the wide ranging diversity that only a Mecum auction provides.

“Mecum has held six large-scale, live auctions in major cities around the country over the past eight weeks, and we’ve sold more than 2,700 vehicles for a total of $75.5 million in overall sales and a sell-through rate of 83 percent,” stated Consignment Director Frank Mecum. “Despite the challenges faced by all in 2020, we’ve gained significant momentum with our live auction events heading into the new year, and we couldn’t be more excited to head down to warm and sunny Florida to kick off 2021 in Kissimmee."

Bidder registration is available online in advance and on-site at the auction for $200, and it includes admission for two to all 10 auction days. Established health and safety protocols will remain in place for all those in attendance. For those unable to attend in person, enhanced remote bidding options are also available, with options for both online and telephone bidding. Portions of the Mecum Kissimmee 2021 auction will be broadcast on NBC Sports Network.

There is still time for those interested in consigning a vehicle for auction; complete details about the consignment process and pricing can be found at Mecum.com. Mecum’s website is updated daily with the latest consignments, including detailed descriptions and photographs of the vehicles.
