After the scattered frost of Wednesday morning, we go into a warming trend for the remainder of the week.
Temperatures will climb from the low 70s on Thursday to the upper 70s for the weekend, but there may be a few scattered showers Saturday and Sunday.
Our latest indicators show that the coldest of the winter will begin in early to mid January and continue into at least February. However, there have also been indications of an early spring, so we will hope for that, but I don't put a lot of stock into a forecast beyond about two weeks. That’s because conditions can change so much, so I feel much better keeping you updated week by week, which will be much more accurate.
