To support small businesses and give back to local nonprofits, Addition Financial recently participated in the “Credit Unions Care Challenge,” presented by the League of Southeastern Credit Unions (LSCU).

Through this initiative, Addition Financial purchased lunches for its employees throughout the month of April, encouraging branches and departments to choose takeout options at locally-owned restaurants. In response, LSCU matched these funds to donate back to the credit union to make an impact in the community.

With these matched funds, Addition Financial has donated to the Osceola County School District, Orange County Public Schools, Seminole County Public Schools, Lake County Public Schools, IMPOWER and The Village.

In addition, the credit union donated 2,000 respirator masks to AdventHealth and Orlando Health. Addition Financial has also purchased gift certificates from several locally-owned restaurants.
